Contributed papers will be presented in form of posters or oral lectures selected by the International Advisory Board. Scientists are invited to submit contributions on all subjects related to microencapsulation.

1. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND DEADLINE
Abstracts must be received before March 31, 2005.
Abstracts must be submitted by email as attachment to the following address: micro15@unipr.it No other form of submission will be accepted.
The abstract must be accompanied by the relative abstract submission form.
All authors are encouraged to carefully review the guidelines for abstract submission both in terms of content and format, and also to view the model abstract for further guidance.

2. LANGUAGE
English will be the official language of the Symposium. Therefore, all contributions must be presented in English.

3. ABSTRACT CONTENT
The following sections are REQUIRED and should be IN THIS ORDER.
Title of paper - Type the abstract title in ALL CAPITAL letters, center alignment. The title must be in Times New Roman 12-point font, boldface type. Leave one blank line below the title.
Author Names - Author(s), affiliation(s) and country(ies) should appear below the title, center alignment. The names of all author(s), affiliation(s) and country(ies) should be included. The presenting author's name must be underlined. In the case of multiple affiliations, use superscript numbers after authors' names and before affiliations to identify corresponding authors and affiliations. Also list email address of presenting author. Affiliation(s) and country(ies) must be italicized. This information is to be followed by one blank line.

The following sections are REQUIRED.

Experimental Methods
Results and Discussion
Conclusion
References
Section titles must be in ALL CAPITAL letters, Times New Roman 10-point font, boldface type. Leave one blank line below each title and one blank line at the end of each section.
Tables, graphs and pictures have to be included within the text. The minimum resolution required for pictures should be: 640x480 pixels.

4. ABSTRACT FORMAT
Abstract Length - Two full pages are preferred, with at least one full page required. Abstracts can not be longer than two pages.
Layout - Abstracts must be two columns, single spaced, A4 format (29.7 x 21 cm) with the following margin settings:
Top & Bottom: 2.5 cm
Left & Right: 2 cm
Between columns: 1.25 cm
Column width: 7.87 cm
File and Font - Documents must be in .pdf format. The model abstract which you can view is in .pdf format. The only accepted type font is Times New Roman. Type size must be 12 points for the abstract title and 10 points for all other sections, justified alignment.

5. AUTHOR NOTIFICATION OF ABSTRACT REVIEW
Members of the International Advisory Board will review all abstracts and will select abstracts for podium and poster presentation consideration.
Authors will be notified of acceptance/rejection by April 30th, 2005.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Symposium book only if the presenting author has registered before May 31st, 2005.

6. ABSTRACT WITHDRAWAL
Submitted abstracts may be withdrawn by written notification sent via email at micro15@unipr.it, for receipt no later than June 15th, 2005. Notification must include abstract confirmation number, abstract title, name, affiliation, phone, fax, and email of the corresponding author. All withdrawn notifications will be acknowledged by the Scientific Secretariat via email. Program and publishing deadlines prohibit abstract withdrawal after June 15th, 2005.
