TITLE: Analytical Group Manager
DEPARTMENT: Analytical Group, Pharmaceutical Development, Pessano con Bornago
REPORTING TO: Pharmaceutical Development Manager
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To manage the Analytical Group, which is based in the sites of Pessano con Bornago and of San Giuliano Milanese, within the Pharmaceutical Develpment Department of Eurand SpA
MAIN INTERFACES
Internally: Formulation Group, Pharmaceutical Development GMP Manager, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, other functions participating in project teams (project management, medical affairs, commercial, etc)
Externally: groups in academia, consultants, contractors
LANGUAGES
Fluency in English is essential. Ability to converse in Italian (or willingness to learn Italian) is desirable.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant industry experience in drug analysis (analytical methods development and validation) within an international company is essential (NB: If the candidate has a PhD, the industry experience required can be shorter but not less than 10 years after the completion of the PhD studies). This includes experience in drug development process, manufacturing scale up, knowledge of the regulations which apply (GLP, GMP, etc) and familiarity with the issues.
- Management experience is essential.
- Expertise in in vitro-in vivo correlations is desirable
- Participation in project teams (as team member or team leader) and familiarity with the principles of project management is desired.

TITLE
Analytical Scientist (Post-Doctoral Position)
DEPARTMENT
Analytical Group, Pharmaceutical Development, Pessano con Bornago
REPORTING TO
Analytical Laboratories Supervisor
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To contribute to the analytical activities of Pharmaceutical Development, by designing and conducting experiments to develop and validate analytical methods for the products in Eurand’s portfolio
MAIN INTERFACES
Internally: Formulation, physical pharmacy and analytical groups, Pharmaceutical Development GMP Manager manufacturing, other functions participating in project teams (project management, medical affairs, commercial, etc)
Externally: groups in academia, consultants, contractors
LANGUAGES
Fluency in English is essential. Ability to converse in Italian (or willingness to learn Italian) is desirable.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

To contribute to the formulation activities of Eurand, by leading a team of formulation scientists and technicians
MAIN INTERFACES
Internally: Formulation, physical pharmacy and analytical groups, manufacturing, other functions participating in project teams (project management, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, commercial, etc)
Externally: groups in academia, consultants, contractors
LANGUAGES
Fluency in English is essential. Ability to converse in Italian (or willingness to learn Italian) is desirable.
